“Gratitude; it turns what we have into enough.”

Thanksgiving and the end of the year holiday season is usually a time that we reflect on gratitude, so with that, I thought this would be a nice topic for this month’s blog.
Gratitude is something so simple, yet so overlooked and underappreciated typically until an obstacle or unfortunate incident crosses our path and sheds some perspective on our life.
Similar to what I mentioned in last month’s blog on mindset, it’s easier to take a bad situation and not see a way out. However, when we express gratitude for the tiny silver lining in this bad situation, things then begin to turn around.
Oddly enough, the more grateful we are with what we have and where we are in life, the more positive things we attract. Yet, it’s so easy to get wrapped up in what’s missing or why me or how much further we have to go, that we get frustrated and miss out on appreciating the process.
Gratitude is not something we’re hardwired with, so like any skill worth having, it requires practice. As we become more aware and start appreciating, our lives start to fill up with abundance!
Start each day with a grateful heart & enjoy this holiday season with loved ones!
