Guilty!...blowing my nutrition goals on the weekend.

Guilty!...of eating clean, working out and then basically blowing it on the weekend. Ugh. Anyone else with me?
I've had weddings and non-stop events the past two weekends, leaving me bloated and disgusted by Monday....as if Mondays aren't dreadful enough!
No wonder I've hit a plateau with my weight. I'm not gaining, thank goodness! However, overeating and drinking on the weekend affects my performance on the mat Monday, sometimes Tuesday as well.
It's time to get back on track and challenge myself to be more mindful and not blow my hard work during the week for a couple of days!
I've been following a fitness blogger who focuses on moderation. She doesn't necessarily stick to the 80/20 plan, more like eating really clean and not limiting herself from a less than perfect food choice. Not a full blow cheat meal, but having a few bites of something to satisfy the craving and letting that be good enough!
This takes a lot of mindfulness, self control and trusting yourself to be able to have a taste of something "bad" and then continuing on your way with your regular healthy nutrition.
I know I've got it in me, because I've done it and have been very successful in the past - even going to a bar and sticking to one drink or even just chugging water; being out and social is enough sometimes!
I've just gotta get my mind right first!! My nutritionist has also recommended I log exactly what I'm consuming on the weekends (food diary, or app) so that it's in my face and I'm very much aware of where I truthfully stand with my calorie intake and output.
Who's up for the challenge with me? Moderation and mindfulness during the week and especially on weekends ...summer is almost here and I'd rather not spend it bloated 😳😂
